We visited the place in November, not so mush water, but the woods were nice. Area around was peaceful and colorful. Tried local steemed buns- local specialty. The anko bun was really good.

There is bus going there from Karuizawa station. The place is peaceful and nice. I was surprised to know that the water takes 6 years to flow through the rocks from the mountain top.

A lovely spot to visit, and the gentle walk to the waterfalls is pretty as you pass streams and mossy rocks. Our children enjoyed it.

This is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Karuizawa. The best time to visit is Spring and early morning.

A short nice walk to the fall, different view and feeling for each session and there is always a surprise regardless the period of visit! Not a big waterfall but truly amazing and beautiful, I will go back again!

Though it doesn't have a majestic view, it holds well with its own unique personality. The fall is like a panoramic curtain revealed at the center stage. It spares the roaring sound but a quiet tranquility. The pathway leading to the fall is a short...More

It is a very short walk from the parking lot to the falls...no steps. The walk is easy with only a slight incline. Don't go in the Winter though....lots of ice and snow.
