This drive-thru tree was great and the lady at the entrance booth was very helpful and nice. Walk across the street and say hi to her pet emu and have a bit of lunch at the café.

It's worth driving up to see. I had a 2500 Dodge pickup that wouldn't fit through but that's okay, was worth seeing!

Save your $5 and plant a tree instead. Walk a trail, ride a bike, stop by a visitor center. Very disappointing.

There are really hours posted because they take donations if there isn't an employee working. It's just a tree to drive through and that is it. But it is cool and totally worth stopping for.

The redwood trees are truly a mystery. The ones that we see now compared to the redwoods that were logged in the pioneer days are just mouth dropping. Something so big. I think of the dinosaurs when walking amongst these giants.
