My husband and I made a stop in LaJolla to see what many people were talking about. I am so happy we did because the views are absolutely gorgeous. The seals are also fun to listen to and watch. If you are there towards evening...More

Fun place to visit with your family. The sea lions and seals are fun to watch. We went in the spring, so we saw the babies playing in the ocean.

We had a great time here seeing dozens of seals and pelicans. Would definitely recommend to anyone who doesn't want a long walk to see a lot of action

I can't imagine skipping this on a visit to San Diego. This was a highlight of our trip. We are from Florida so to see Sea Lions on the beach was a very unique experience!

We were told about this place by a couple of local women who were dining next to us at a breakfast cafe nearby. It was fantastic and spontaneous! Don't miss this place if you are in the area.

Visitors to San Diego have on their must see list: The Zoo, The Del and The La Jolla Cove. Even the oldest san diegan have the same must list, over and over and over.

This is an amazing walk, but it can get crowded and parking is tough to find. So go early if just to get a parking spot. This is a great area with lots to see. A cliffside walk where you find sea lions, squirrels, flowers,...More

Drove up after work and I was so thankful I did. This was a ]perfect location to just enjoy the air, ocean and sea lions. This is a must stop. Walk the length and visit the children's pool area. Highly recommend.

It's fun to watch the views and the seals. Parking is a bit of a nightmare and the seals make for a malodorous air. :) Otherwise, a little beach and a fun afternoon with the kids.

Not sure. Look at some other responses, and one said yes it is.
I have multiple questions on parking.. 1. Is the street parking free or paid? Any different in the weekend and weekdays? 2. Which day is better to visit there between Sunday and Monday with regards to the street parking? 3. If the street parking is not free, is there any public or private parking and cost? Thanks!

Monday would be better. Go early for parking on Coast Ave or you can easily park for free on Eads, Draper, Fay and Silverado , then just walk over to the Cove. There will be a somewhat steep but short grade to walk to the... More

I totally suggest Uber. It is very convenient & you don't have to search for a parking space. Stay away from buses.
