Wide, level beach safe for children. Get's very crowded on weekends and summer so we locals avoid it! Lawn area and children's play area.

We had time for just a short visit, but it was most pleasant. The beach is beautiful, the views are beautiful, and it is not nearly as crowded as other San Diego beaches (I'm looking at you, Mission Beach).

Enjoy the beautiful beach and take a short walk to the scripps pier. Lots of birds in the area Sandpipers and seagulls alike. The pier is one of the most photographed piers in San Diego. Bring your camera and flip flops.

We enjoyed walking on La Jolla Shore Beach today. Lots of parking. Clean area with plenty of lifeguard protection and equipment. It was fun to put our feet in the Pacific. Would love to return and stay longer.

This beach is very clean and well taken care of. I liked that swimmers and surfers were in separate areas. There are rest and changing rooms as well as public fresh water showers. Parking is 2 min away and free.

This is nice to walk along the water. There are plenty of seals to see some in the water swimming about as well. There is a beach you can go on and sometimes the seals are on it as well. Also plenty of birds.
