What a magnificent Temple filled and decorated with so much symbolism. From the symbol of Melchizedek throughout, to the spires that assist the viewer in gazing Heaven ward thus raising our thoughts from mere mortal maters, to the Angel Moroni facing the East awaiting Christ's return. This is a place to come, learn of Christ, and feel His peace.

Unless you are of the faith you can only view the building from the outside, but it is still worth the trip. A truly beautiful building it can be admired from afar, from the car park of the shopping mall on the opposite side of the interstate, or more close up from within the grounds. The lighting during the Christmas... More

Right off the freeway, this is a spectacularly beautiful building and grounds. Tastefully decorated for Christmas, it is worth a stop night or day. We were in southern CA on an anniversary getaway, and had to stop in several times to get photos here.

I took my family here in November and we walked around the building and took a few photos. Although we couldn't go inside it was worth the stop. After passing this on highway 5 we had to see what it was.

This is a great place to visit and walk around, even if you might not be able to go inside the building.

We watched this being built as we went down the freeway from Orange County. It looked like something out of Arabian Nights and was unique to the area and one of a kind. It's been so well kept that it still looks magical to me. Nothing Disneylike about this as some contributors have said, more ethereal than commercial.

I'm guessing that this temple is the current design. Architecturally it's like a sand castle at one of those beach contests.
