I visited this location with my sons. The views were breathtaking. You can see 360 for a long way. There are benches to sit at to just enjoy the views and contemplate. Don't miss this attraction.

See all of San Diego and some of Mexico from the top of Mt. Soledad. A beautiful drive up and then views of the Pacific Ocean to the Catalinas off of Mexico.

We spent a couple hours here walking the grounds and watching ships in the bay. The vistas are beautiful and grounds well maintained. You can also drive down to the beach .

The slope up is pretty gentle and yes, it is accessible from all 360 degrees, however there are stairs to get to the foot of the cross itself. You wont be disappointed tho, its breathtaking
