Cute shops and great farmer's market

This area is fun to visit with a couple nice restaurants and Nitrogen ice cream and wine shop. We biked here from our hotel and loved the farmer's market.

We always spent a day in the old town when we visit Palm Springs. There is also a boutique called Le Chateau that I absolutely love (my husband, not so much). We go for lunch, go on Sunday for the market or simply walk around the art galleries. What a great day!

It's not "terrible", but it's not an attraction and not worth the drive. We drove from Palm Springs, thought we'd find something akin to Old Town in San Diego. Nope. This is a small collection of restaurants and offices, a couple of clothing stores. Not much happening on a Friday afternoon. We grabbed an ice cream and headed to El... More

Stopped by after a hike, walked around a few blocks, and checked out a few stores. They have done a good job with this area, quite unique. Had lunch at stuff pizza, walked a bit more. Quite a different feel than the many shopping malls that are everywhere

We enjoyed the arts and crafts show on a recent Sunday. It is fun to walk around looking at all the shops. We stopped at a brew house and tried some craft beer.

Old town La Quinta is designed in the white, Spanish style. There are several good restaurants to choose from for dining, both inside or outdoor patios. The brewery and wine bar are enjoyable to watch people strolling and a terrific ice cream store that uses nitrogen to quickly freeze the item of your choice. Overall, it is a great place... More

A great place to walk around or stop for coffee or a bite and sit and watch others stroll through Old Town La Quinta. Many shops ready to help you decorate.

Sundays the streets are closed off for a great Organic Farmer's Market. Lots of people come out. They also have very nice arts and crafts. Great place to grab a coffee or breakfast at Old Town Bakery. Many restaurants, bike rentals etc. Plenty of parking
