Always one of my favorites but it's far too expensive... If you are going to charge $15 to get in at least have bathrooms that work...

My family and I stopped here after leaving Laguna Beach. $15 for a day pass. The park has bathrooms and outdoor shower. Must take stairs down to beach. Life guard on duty. Nice place where not so touristy.

We parked at Los Trancos and walked to the beach through the tunnel for ten minutes. However, there is a shuttle to a beach if you don't want to walk. It costs $1.50 to ride the shuttle. This beach is different from other beaches in...More

Crystal Cove was our favorite beach. It costs $14 to get in but worth it. It was clean and beautiful. We even saw common dolphins swimming. It was a quiet and secluded beach. Not at all touristy. Waves were good and you could walk out...More

I love this beach because it is among the most beautiful. Because it is a state park, there are fewer visitors than at near by Laguna Beach

People love the beach area with the Beachcomber and the cute cottages, and for beach bum types, I can see the appeal. But I love this park for its great vista hikes and the beach cove that's further south down the coast. You can reach...More

During our stay at the Marriott Coastal Villas, we walked to the beach at Crystal Cove twice. If you plan to walk it, be prepared as it’s a bit of a hike. There’s a shortcut nearby Building 1000, that saves you a little. It’s downhill...More

Plenty of parking and the large, beautiful beach is clean and safe. There's a small snack shack at the parking lot in case you want drinks or something to eat. Park Fee is $15 per day but considering the ease of use and access, well...More

Its a long stretch of beach. Clean, sandy beach and plenty of bathrooms and restaurants. A great place for swimming, picnic or just to stroll. Be there early because parking lot gets full. We paid $8 for the parking and $1.5 per person for the...More

My viewpoint is that of a local, so it may not be applicable to you. There was a time when this was not owned by the State and all of the cottages were homes to local residents, not vacation rentals, and you could park in...More

I always keep my eyes open for non-campers who shouldn't be walking along the campsites that we stay in, and we never saw anyone walking that didn't look like a fellow camper. Everyone said hello and or looked at you face to... More

Not sure if you got the answer you're looking for, but the hike-in to the campsite, from the beach area is about five to ten minutes. The campsites are up on the bluffs looking over the beach and pacific coast highway, so... More

Please confirm with a state park ranger, but there are picnic spaces on the cliff areas over the beach. I believe they do allow for a small propane grill but please confirm with the park staff.
