Stopped in here with my daughter in February of 2017 while in town. My daughter is interested in an animal care career, and this small center was an easy, quick opportunity to get a look at what this type of mammal rescue is really like....More

Please give a donation or buy some stuff from the gift shop, they do important work here. They were more than willing to talk about the animals and the threats to their habitats. Emily was super friendly and knowledgeable.

I suggest you visit. Lots of info given and see up close sea lions and seals. Get behind the scene look at how these precious mammals are being rescued, treated and released. God bless the volunteers and staff there. They are all so wonderdul.

This organization rescues and rehabilitates marine mammals and is not a zoo or tourist attraction. There is no entry fee but we made a donation. Our guide was a very nice volunteer with lots of good information.

We had a lot of fun learning about the different mammals brought into pmmc. You can see the animals in the different pools and they are funny to watch!

After that last horrible incident, they apparently need a security guard after hours. Of course you can't just drop off one of those, but a donation towards acquiring/supporting one might be on their list.
