my partner and visited while on a road trip. built in the 1920s the bungalow is one of the few original houses remaining in the downtown area. good glimpse or the past. interesting.

Stopped in here to see the bungalow. Staff lady showed us around and described the home and its owner. Nicely setup and worth your time if you are interested- limited time home is open - check internet and call Displays are in various rooms and interesting to see and read

Great preservation by the Laguna Beach Historical Society, love coming here to relive the glory of the old days! Lots of information from its era!

Nice visit for adults--perhaps not children, though. Docent offered great insights into the area's history and a brochure of other bungalows nearby. Easy access, next to Whole Foods.

Adorable bungalow preserved right in downtown Laguna Beach- it is now the home of Laguna Beach Historical Society (leased to them by owner Wells Fargo Bank for $1 per year.) They have decorated the place with donations of historic furnishings from past and present Laguna Beach residents. It's called Murphy- Smith because the Murphys built it in 1923 and Mrs.... More

If you like history, you should visit this, but make certain you call and confirm they are open. It is lead by docents/volunteers and not open every day...
