A lot of fun exploring the rocks and sea life. Wear sandals because they are some tricky areas to navigate.

Incredible tidal pools, nature up close and in person. We had crazy warm weather Dec2015, up to 80 degrees, so unseasonably warm which certainly had positive effect on me.

The tide pools are easily accessible. We loved hanging out on the rocks and enjoying the sights. I could not ask for a better morning as not very many people were there at 10:30 am on a Sunday.

A guide greeted us as we approached the tide pools and shared some information as well as provided us with a printed guide that would help us identify things in the tide pools. We had a lot of fun exploring. Wish we would have read...More

Check the tides before you go. Low tide is best for exploring the miriad of tide pools here. Either take Main Beach and head north or walk down the steps from Heisler park. Kids and grown up kids love this place.

If you love to just explore tide pools and sit on the rocks, this is a nice place. Make sure you wear shoes coz of the rocks.

This is a absolutely beautiful location. Steps and pathways take you down to the water. Breaktaking when the surf is big.

Loved this place and the university students hanging around and explaining what we are seeing. You don't see the life in this place at first glance but if you kneel down and peer in to the tidepools you'll find entire communities of sea life scampering...More

We love the tidepools, especially climbing on the rocks and being so close to the waves. Simply sitting on the rocks and facing the open sea is so very soothing and invigorating at the same time.
