If you haven't seen the Lake Shasta Caverns in person you should pay for a tour. It is worth the price and I think everyone should check it out. I had not seen it until the last year after growing up here and they are...More

This is a great excursion to see beautiful caverns with rock formations millions of years old. It is less than two miles off of Interstate 5 (Exit 695). We were worried because we had a 27-foot Class C RV. The roads to get there are...More

It's about a two hour time investment and $26.00 per person. Quite a bargain for a short boat ride across a beautiful big lake, a fun shuttle ride up the mountainside and one hours worth of exercise climbing up and down hundreds of stairs following...More

One of the must place to visit near Lake Shasta. It takes a pleasant boat ride and a bus ride to reach there. The guides explain the natural/chemical phenomenon happen there to create these beautiful formations.

I thought this was a national park but it turns out it is privately owned and operated - it is called a National Natural Landmark: anyways it is every bit as beautiful, professionally managed and unique as federally owned national parks. For the price: $26...More
