Unfortunately, we were not there on a day they were making cheese to see the process. However, this family run cheese making shop was a fun stop anyway. Samples of all of their cheeses are available so you can taste and purchase your favorites. Lovely...More

We were pleasantly surprised when we pulled up to the Loleta Cheese Factory-a small farmhouse with a beautiful garden. (I was expecting a big factory type building similar to Tillamook in Oregon). There was a huge amount of different cheeses to try, but the best...More

We found this little cheese factory by chance and stopped in. They have lots of cheese samples. They have some great tasting cheese, and a surprisingly large variety. The staff didn't really engage with us, so we didn't really learn much about the place while...More

Samples galore and friendly folks to talk with. Recommended stop. Bob and Shirley run a worthwhile operation and are available to explain the operations.

Quickly stopped by on way to Eureka, was in a nice but empty downtown area that had seen better days. Inside had a good amount of cheese, many local which were fairly priced and tasted good. This is really the main place in town.

This is a fun stop--most of the time you can watch the cheesemaking through windows in the little cheese shop. You can taste the cheeses before you select them, and there is a range of cheeses in a range of prices. There are also a...More

We stopped by this cheese factory and we were very pleased. They have an amazing variety of chesses and you can taste everyone. We also stayed for lunch and their take of the grilled cheese sandwich was amazing. I had the Sweet Baby Cheeses, outstanding....More

I've been to the factory many, many times and have never been disappointed. My favorites are Havarti Dill and Garden Jack. Soooo yummy!! You can sample all the cheese without the huge hoards of people you find at other cheese factories (Tillamook). The coolest thing...More
