Really fantastic Pinot Noirs here. The staff was friendly and helpful and I really liked the eclectic feel of the place with the antiques and record shop. The views of the vineyards were lovely too.

We were late....it was close...what good luck to find this winery! As you enter you're charmed by a time warp of older Western decor and memorabilia. We did a reasonably priced flight of local Pinot Noirs and ended up purchasing several to return with us to Mexico. A helicopter landed during our stay presaging a vineyard-hopping future option. Altogether a... More

There's a reason why Babcock is acknowledged by James Beard as a Top 10 small producer. Their wines are outstanding! We joined their wine club - an easy decision after our tasting was complete and worth the hassle of trying to figure out where to have the wine shipped since they can't ship to the state where we live.

Great taste of the local vineyards. Quirky old time decor. Great personalities at the wine bar. Gorgeous vineyard. Really fun experience.

We saw this winery on our way to another more well known winery next door and last minute decided to stop. Right away we could that this was a great choice. The tasting room is Ike a little market with lots of quirky spaces and really interesting. The staff was especially helpful and eager to please. The wines were the... More

We had a great tasting from Greg. The tasting room is a really cool place to hang out. I would recommend this winery to anyone traveling through the Santa Rita Hills on a wine tour.

Full disclosure, I've paid $100+ for a bottle of wine just to see if it was worth it. It usually isn't and that applies here. Nice tasting room/barn with antiques and memorabilia spread around. But the tasting is expensive at $18. The wines are pretty good but don't merit the prices. Many of these wines can be bought at wine... More

Good wines, not what they used to be in my opinion but good. The day I visited I must say the young lady serving us was a little disappointing. Not a lot of personality and definitely not knowledgeable regarding their products. It was a little disappointing that I knew more about their products, their history and so on than she... More

So, you want to taste terrific pinots but can't decide? Let Babcock pour you a parallel flight (side-by-side) of their terrific pinots in their very wildly eclectic tasting room (which is really a curio storage shed circa 1980). Some of the best pinots I had on the SY Valley trip. Glad I/we were there during non-peak times.
