We just stood outside and looked at the signatures, hand prints and shoe points in the concrete. Good to see and take some pics. Right near the Hollywood Stars so don't miss it.

Don't just look at the outside - go inside and do the tour. It's a beautiful old theatre. The guide will tell you some history of the building and some trivia, and show you around. They also explain some of the hand and foot prints outside.

Want to discover the signature, hand or foot prints of your favorite actors? Then tour and visit the TCL Chinese Theater. The theater is a historic theater in Hollywood and offers a glimpse into Hollywood's history. This attraction is definitely a busy location with lots of tourists. However, I found it to be fun and entertaining to see the signatures... More

After having seen photos of the Chinese theater, you couldn't help but think it was a huge place. But upon visiting in person, that's when you realize it's not "larger than life". It was fun to see the hand and foot prints of celebrities who WERE/are larger than life.... in your imagination. Biggest surprise was to see how small John... More

If you don't like crowds and people bothering you for pictures you need to avoid this place. But if you can put up with the bother it is worthwhile to see the hand and foot prints of some of the stars of old. The people who work the area are as bad as a Jamaican trying to get you to... More

We watched Kong Skull Island here during our time in Hollywood. Seeing all the hand and foot prints here was pretty cool and work a wonder around to see who was there. The movie theatre itself was nice and clean and well maintained. Being from Australia we really appreciated the person that come out down the bottom to introduce the... More

There was shrubbery all across the front to afford privacy for aome event. We were able to see Clint Eastwoods hand and foot prints. As you can imagine, a pretty crowded area. Avoid those in costumes who want you to pay them cash for the privilege of you taking a picture with them.

Pretty cool place to visit. A must see for 1st time visitors. There are many new plus older stars hand and foot prints. It's crazy to see how small some of the older female actresses feet were.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
