It's always fun to see places at the holiday time and the library didn't disappoint! The inside had wonderful decorations and a beautiful tree. The new murals were beautiful. Then outside you could have a drink and relax in the garden.

Nestled in the midst of old & new LA, you stumble across one of the most influential libraries on the West Coast. OK, you can Google the historic patents housed here, but you must visit to be touched by history.

This is a large library right in downtown LA that was part of the original development of the area. Unless you live in LA and take part in the programs and classes, the library itself isn't all that unique, other than the fact that's it's...More

Ton of homeless gather on the grounds outside here, very shady place to be. Dirty too, prob due to all the homeless and the garbage they strew about, but they need to clean this place up.
