When I learned about this on TA, I put it on my agenda for our L.A. trip. Do take a look at what they sell online first, to make sure it's worth your trip. It took us a long time to get there from Venice, but I know what I wanted. My favourite items are the black shirts with the... More

This place is great if you want morbid trinkets and official gear from the Medical Examiners office. Its a little pricey but you are buying direct. Everytime I go there I feel like a kid in a candy store spending a hundred bucks on shirts bags and cups but totaly worth it. The clothes are made with tip top material... More

I had heard about this place some years ago, and finally got around to visiting in June of this year. Some of the gifts in there are really unusual - towels with body outlines on them, crime scene tape, body bags, down to the usual assortment of t.shirts, pens, fridge magnets etc. I spent a fortune in here !! One... More

After you've passed through the mourning relatives you can safely liven up. Throughout the gift shop you'll be thinking (Is it even LEGAL to sell THAT???!!). No worries! You can also buy online to escape the prying eyes of your boss and mother-in-law. Or you can wrap their offices in yellow Crime Scene tape, place fake blood spatter at random... More

Okay, it's not your typical gift shop - Skeletons in the Closet is the gift shop in the L.A. County Coroner's office. It's a great source of one-of-a-kind gifts - T-shirts, Hoodies and jackets emblazoned with "CORONER", body bags, beach towels (with a chalk-outline body), toe tags, caps and even a christmas ornament. Truly unique gifts. It's worth a visit... More

Who would have thought the coroner's office would have a gift shop?! If your taste runs to the darker side then this is the shop for you... coroner logo mugs, shirts, "body bag" garment bags, hats, and the delightful chefs apron with pockets for "spare hands" and "spare ribs." Granted, the store is small and the selection is rather limited,... More

So a few days after xmas, we went there to exchange it. The building itslef is beautiful, it has... More
