Overview
More
Established in 1934, when a dozen local farmers parked their trucks on an open field (once a dairy farm) to sell fresh produce to local residents, the Market has remained true to its roots ever since. With nearly 100 dining, shopping and grocery opportunities, Farmers Market has something for everyone. More than seventy-five years later the Farmers Market remains the one stop shop for every visitor’s needs.

FM has endured the changes of LA over the years. There is still available veggies and such to buy, but I think it has become more of a spot to grab a bite and maybe a souvenir. The variety is amazing so if you go...More

Yes there were some nice produce on sale but mostly restaurants with overpriced menus. Sure there was quite a bit of variety but overall we found the experience underwhelming and the food mediocre.

This spot is fun sort of a farmers market but really an interesting food court. A diverse selection of shops and restaurants. We had food at The Gumbo Pot, killer Po Boys!!!

I have been here a number of times in my life but not for around 20 years. The "market" is now much more of a food court than a seller of produce and fresh food. It is a great place to meet for lunch, but...More

Tasty local food in Los Angeles, no McD or another chain restaurants around. Choose food you like and eat and enjoy.

Loved this place so much! Wish I could have taken it all home with me to Missouri! We got there early right at 9 when they opened and there was no crowd yet. After spending time here we walked next door to The Grove. This...More

Between the "stuff" vendors and the food vendors, there is something for everyone. It was a bit crowded during the day, during the week but the people were pleasant. Parking was a bit problem but we did finally get a spot (make sure to get...More

I don't know for sure, but really not a good idea because it is always so crowded, the dog might get stepped on. an there diffenitly not place for them to "go".
