It's an early morning taping. Check in is before 8:30 AM. Love the show but they herd the audience around like cattle. Had attained VIP status from multiple visits...and there was no perk except arriving 30 minutes later. They taped two shows, and we didn't get out of studio till after 1 PM. He's charming in person .

Ive decided to the Dr Phil show while I was in LA. The tickets are free. Once you get there, youre given a card (based on your looks I suppose) and that determines where youre going to sit during a show. The staff is very friendly. They tape two shows a day so I was asked if I was willing... More

Attending the Dr. Phil show was so much fun. It is a long day but such a good experience. The only thing we didn't like is it was freezing cold in the studio. We loved the staff. They were all very nice. I expected dr Phil to talk to the audience but he didn't. Once he came out on stage... More

My daughter and I reserved our free tickets online 3 weeks before arriving, and received several helpful emails with instructions on reserving, what to expect, and where to go on the day of filming. We arrived at Paramount Studios at 8:00 am and were led to a room to wait for everyone in the studio audience to arrive. As we... More

Our day at the Dr. Phil studio was great, but I will offer some tips... first, don't freak about arriving before the time they tell you to be there. We waited a long time just to get in, which was a bummer. Secondly, WEAR A BRIGHTLY COLORED SHIRT. We found that they placed people in the front rows because they... More

The Dr Phil show was super fun - but we got to the entrance at 8am and we were the only ones out waiting. As we got in, we turned in our cell phones - they were great and very friendly about it. When you go in, they have you in a waiting room where the producer gives you some... More

The show was great and security was good. Only thing is the waiting and moving from one place then wait and move again. When you got in to the studio it was awesome and the staff really kept you entertained. We were totally pleased and looking forward to going back again. The content of the show that day was awful... I had the best day at the taping of two Dr Phil's shows (plus got chosen to be a part of a bit of extra filming for ads for some other shows). I was the first person to arrive lining up (I think I got there at 7.00 am) however you didn't really need to get there that early -... More

Johnathan DeMatteii, the Audience Coordinator, secured my tickets and followed up via e-mail to be sure that I was in the audience. Two shows were recorded. All the staff was terrific, lots of excitement before and between the shows made the experience even more enjoyable. Dr. Phil's wife, Robin, handed out Dr. Phil Mugs and I was close enough to... Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
