    A definite for a Taphophile
If you visit cemeteries like I do this is a must. Not only visit if you're into celebrities but just for the cemetery itself. If is hidden in a not so glamorous section of Hollywood but what a gem. Did not have enough time , would definitely visit again My sister and I are Taphophile's and now I can cross it off my list.

    Must Visit for Movie Buffs
The cemetery is free to get in and not very big so easy to walk around. It is a working cemetery so the office is set up to manage that aspect and not to help tourists find celebrity graves. Maps are available at the florist for $6. Although the map is a useful start, the locations shown are not 100% accurate and it is not easy to tell of the grave is inside a building or outside. Access to Judy Garland's grave for instance is from the outside and not obvious on the map. Some graves are easy to find while others more difficult. Some I couldn't find at all. Definitely a must visit for anyone interested in Hollywood and the movies.

    The Marias Concert
Hollywood forever cemetery is an absolute beautiful venue they held the show at. I was super fortunate to have someone in staff able to help me with my ticket crisis, saving the day. This was a concert I am glad to be able to attend.

    Excellent Service
I had an outstanding experience with Hollywood Forever! From the moment I reached out to Yogu and Brenda, their customer service team went above and beyond to assist me. They were prompt, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Every question I had was answered with patience and clarity, making the entire process seamless. It’s rare to find such dedication to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Hollywood Forever to anyone looking for top-notch service!

Hollywood Forever is a sprawling cemetery, the final resting place of superstars and ordinary folks alike. There's a shop by the entrance which sells maps ($6) and larger booklets. However, I didn't find the map particularly helpful when trying to locate certain graves.

Unless you're looking for someone specific (like Judy Garland, who has a whole indoor area to herself!, go to Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park instead. Or do both and compare, like I did.

Currently working cemetery with a lot of other people that are not celebrities buried here. A sweet lady runs the place and operates the gift shop which has succulents and a book that you can buy about who is buried there. You can visit Mel Blanc, Estelle Getty, Johnny Ramone and some other currently famous dead celebrities. Most of the celebrities you’ll find here are from the early 1910-1930s, along with famous directors and producers. It is in the ripest part of Hollywood, With all the adult bookstores, drug dealers, trash on the streets, and all that you can expect In that environment. It was interesting but I can’t say that it was worth taking the time to drive out there. If you are up for a couple of hours of strolling through the cemetery, and you aren’t expecting to see a lot of people you recognize from film, then this will be the place for you.

When my husband said let's go to the Hollywood Forever Cemetry for the afternoon, I was so against it!
However, it is a beatiful cemetry with well kept lawns and gardens. The amount of famous people's grave we saw, we incredible.
It is definitely a stop most people would not make but well worth it if you have a few hours spare.

The cemetery is fascinating with lots of interesting things to see. Beautifully kept grounds and elaborate headstones and memorials.

The guest shop isn’t very clearly marked. Definitely worth buying the book they offer (which has a map inside) instead of just the map.

What a peaceful way to spend some time. You can get a map at the gift shop to find all the famous graves, or you can do what we did and just wander. Either way, you will find interesting markers and people you know about. The cemetery is full of history and wildlife as well as a colony of very well cared for feral cats and a muster of beautiful peacocks. When we went there was a service going on near one of the mausoleums so we didn't go in that section at all, it's important to remember this is a place where people are still being interred and there are mourners.

A very big center with all different areas so if you don’t have all day you need to know roughly what you want to see.
A lot of famous stars buried in different areas but if you ask you will be advised which areas to go to.
For us personally, we found it very interesting and calming.
