4/1/16 They don't use bags when mowing, therefore, there are heavy clumps of mowed grass on the fairways where you lose balls. I lost 4 balls that were in the middle of the fairway. I watched them until they stopped. Then rolled up to the area and could not find them. If you miss a green by 10 feet your... More

Staff friendly and helpful. Range balls need replacing. The course is very dry creating too much roll with a good shot that hits a hard spot and who knows where it will end up. Yes, there is a drought in California, but when the locals say it's always winter rules (bump your ball to find some grass to put under... More

Played Beau Pre one morning in July. Course presences was nice and had its share of difficulty. All in all a good course to play regardless of your playing skills. Pro shop well equipped and the snack bar\ restaurant staff were friendly. I will play again next time I'm in town.

The owner seem to just let all the complaints just roll off his back. Had a few people drop their membership because of all the problems. They don't sand their greens on a regular basis... More

Challenging, and getting better with the addition of better equipment. Prices are reasonable. I cancelled my cable TV and bought a membership and am still money ahead. Twilight rates and super twilight are great deals.

If you find yourself in Humboldt County and want a casual, fun round of golf Beau Pre will do the trick. This is a short, quirky 18 hole layout with some good holes but more than a couple of bad holes and condition issues dull the experience. The strength of the layout is in an interesting set of Par 3... More

Beautiful place for a walk, oh, you can golf too. I am just learning, so not a great judge of the course, but the price is right and the scenery is beautiful.
