So much to see. Interactive adult exhibits. Preschool children' s area. Watch otters being fed. They are very cute & animated. Several areas where you can touch live sea creatures. Can even pet manta rays. Picturesque views of Monterey Bay.

I love fish so of course I love the aquarium, but I have to say that this aquarium has a particularly good selection of fish and animals. It's fascinating to see the huge open water exhibit and watch the fish interact in the kelp forest....More

Highly recommended for everyone visiting Monterey Bay area. Excellently managed by the efficient staff. Best time to visit is when they feed the fish, so plan accordingly.

Some reviews say the aquarium is quite small which is true but what they do have here is really good for the size! I'd say plan 2-3 hours to look around the whole aquarium. The best part is the huge tank where they feed the...More

The aquarium is not the cheapest entry fee, but it was one of the best afternoons we've had in such a long time. The jellyfish room and the sea otters were my favorite, and it would be a great experience for families or adults.

Aside from the displays, which are fascinating, the great thing about the aquarium is its staff - always walking about, answering questions and often just offering explanations.

Wonderful setting. Staff helpful and friendly, especially with our online purchase mishap. Diving staff friendly as the cleaned tanks. Tanks were clean and exhibits were visibly. Stores were setup nicely. Prices ranged. Bathrooms were cleaned and spacey. I didn't wait in a line once. Had...More

This Aquarium is much smaller than the Shedd so you need to start with that knowledge and not compare the two. We enjoyed all of the aquarium's exhibits in this old Cannery building which was neat in itself. We came in time to watch the...More
