World class aquarium that has a little of everything with a focus on sea life in the Bay. Friendly staff with experts galore ready to answer questions. Nice gift store and cafe as well.

This is by far the best aquarium I have been to yet. The variety of things to do and see is just great for all ages. My particular favourite was the sea otters but the kids loved the splash zone.

The aquarium has added a new dimension with high def video. Very nicely done. It is worth a visit if you haven't been in a few years. One bump in the road was the ticket purchasing process. The categories of tickets offered on the web...More

When I was done at work I went to the Aquarium and this is really off the charts. I could remember when it was $15.00 to get in and $60.00. It was worth it. I need to bring the grandkids here.

We have come to this place as a couple and many times as a family. It is a nice outing for either. It took us from 9:30 to 11:00 to see every part of the aquarium. If we had younger kids, it would have taken...More

Very interesting fun and educational place. At every turn something worth experiencing. Great way to learn about the area history and all the sea and bay creatures.

Happily, the tickets we purchased at our hotel were good for two consecutive days. Arrive early to beat the crowds. One day can't cover the world of the sea, all the different aquariums, exhibits, films and feedings. You can only absorb so much in one...More

The Monterey Peninsula is a visually spectacular place in many regards. Your visit will be heightened by going to the aquarium. Tickets are a bit pricey, but it's worth it to watch the sea otters being fed and to touch marine life. Kids will be...More

The Monterey Bay Aquarium is amazing. Otters frolic, jelly fish glide, penguins play, and families are experiencing the magic of the ocean while easily moving from one exhibit to the next. We loved learning about the ocean in this beautiful aquarium. We wish we had...More

This aquarium tops all the other I have visited, with amazing open sea exhibits and the live kelp forest. Unfortunately it's very expensive, but just about worth it as they do provide a wonderful experience.

I did not see scooters for rent. Some wheel chairs were available. Very accessible for sure.

Can you still use the San Francisco CityPass for admission to the Monterey Bay Aquarium?

I don't think it is included now. If you want to go to an aquarium it's as well paying the entry fee here because the San Francisco Aquarium on the Bay is so disappointing - even if it is included on the City Pass

Hi, I am sure you can find that out by checking out the cruiseline or google map! Use an uber to get at the aquarium as it is really nice to have been there! Enjoy
