This is a must see stop! The views are amazing, but the Elephant seals are the main attraction! I could've watched them all day.

The beach is long, clean and not seemingly crowded. Such a great area to spend time with family and friends with a beautiful walk to Morro rock. I have camped here many times. Something not to miss.

We're so used to the crazy crowded beaches of the SF bay area. This was such a wonderful exception. The beach is very long, very clean, not crowded. The water is very shallow for quite some distance. So this allows the water to be a...More

Family RV trip to Morro Beach and it did not disappoint. RV sites have full hook up's. The bathrooms are clean if needed. The walk to the beach is close. A lot of great sites to see and a lot to do here.

Poor access, surrounded by homes on the beach, and no dogs allowed. Not the most family friendly beach in my opinion.

Very nice beach with scenic views of Moro Rock and dunes. Easy access, lots of parking, very accessible. Beautiful stretch of coast on Highway 1.

This wasn’t exactly our favorite beach along the CA coast. It was great for families however, as the beach is long and the waves relatively calm. The scenery wasn’t so impressive and the natural beauty was ok.

Long walk from parking lot to beach, but sand is wide and flat. Water stays shallow for several yards so it's easy to wade in. Plenty of sand dollars to admire.

A beautiful area to watch kite surfers. The day we were there was very windy and kite surfers were having a great time.

Morro Bay is not warn. Compare it to Monterey. It can be foggy and windy any time of the year. No matter when you come make sure you bring warm clothes. I speak as an 18 year resident.

Morro Strand State Beach Campground recently underwent construction to add full hook-up sites. There is also water available for the non-hookup sites. If you like to "beach camp" just steps away from the Pacific Ocean then... More
