It is gorgeous in every light - morning noon or sunset. Especially sunset. Enjoy watching the surfers right next to the rock

Always fun to see this iconic landmark. If you get a sunny day, it's so pretty. We saw fisherman, tourists rowing, 2 otters with a baby, a seal, and lots of birds.

You have kiwi birds walking around. Otters swimming around. The brach is huge. You can spend hours sitting at the beach enjoying yourself. Close by is a nice fresh fish place if you are hungry.

From Big Sur, it will be before San Luis Obispo. You can't miss it driving down Highway 1.

No climbing is allowed. You can pretty much walk right up to it. You can also enjoy some very nice tide pools at its base.
