Every time we went to Morro Bay, the Aquarium was the first place we visited. The seals perform tricks for pieces of fish that you can drop down to them and you are less than 10 feet from the seals. Where else can you interact...More

So happy to see it closing. Not sure what they will do with the poor animals there who have lived under horrific conditions.

They only gained the 2 stars because the cheap price made it not a total loss ($3) and feeding the seals up close was a cool experience. But other than that, this place is a tiny, sad place. Rumor is that they will be closing...More

Walked in without looking it up first. What a mistake. Seals in tiny tanks and single fish in bare tanks with a few pebbles in the bottom. Walked straight back out. Even my 9 year old was upset by the conditions and asked to leave...More

The tanks for the Sea Lions and Seals are tiny and filthy. Most of the fish are dying or dead in small, ugly, old tanks. We brought our granddaughter and luckily she is only 3, so didn't understand why the fish weren't swimming or laying...More

With all appreciation to the nice people involved, the place horrendous and displays only sad sad fish and deeply disturbed seals. We genuinely hope that these majestic sea creatures and mammals will receive better treatment. Today!
