Great mountain for local skiing!

We had an awesome day at Mt Shasta! Part of it was due to it being a powder day, but it was better than expected knowing it was a small park. Great "side-country" tree lines off... read more

For me and my husband, it cost us $50 less to do night skiing here than it did for ONE of us to ski at the cheapest place in Tahoe. Great place to learn to ski, great little lodge, beautiful view of the mountain, and they have a nice "ski valet" service for you to take breaks

We had an awesome day at Mt Shasta! Part of it was due to it being a powder day, but it was better than expected knowing it was a small park. Great "side-country" tree lines off the Coyote lift and the terrain parks are top notch also. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the chairlifts and... More

Great day skiing. Need to make easier transition from snow to patio area. Was very slippery. Need to put benches by lockers. No where to sit down where lockers are, so people were sitting on the stairs blocking access to hand rails. Much less expensive than Tahoe and less crowds.

The best ski park in this general area. If you can't go to the world class places, this is great. Lots of other things to do in the area, so come to enjoy the skiing and stay to enjoy the rest of Mt Shasta.

This a a great smaller resort with slower lifts and...... interesting grooming. If you are in the area during winter, it is a very inexpensive and fun mountain. It is also a great place to learn and has awesome instructors. Best to go mid-week and pack some snacks

Although you need chains to get up the last mile of the road ( when snow permits and no 4 wheel drive or AWD) - the Skiing, Snow quality and less crowded venue rewards you with an excellent day. A cute restaurant and bar satisfies at the end of the day - and very nice locals operating the place provide... More

Our local Mt. Shasta Ski Park was open from Dec - April, and I was sad when they finally closed due to warm weather. I learned to snowboard under the absolute best conditions, at least twice a week. The Staff was well trained and friendlier than any year before (and I've lived here 30 years!) We meet people from all... More

I have wanted to experience Mount Shasta for quite awhile. I tra pevel and ski a lot. It had beautiful scenery and short lift lines. I rarely leave a bad review but the rental shop was horrible!! My boots had gone bad so I needed rentals, I got there at 10am and did not get rentals till 12:30pm! ... There... More

There was a lot of pros and cons to this mountain. The views are amazing and it is easy to park near the lifts. There are only 3 ski lifts and the lower lift is slow, stops a lot, and has not lift bars. But, there was not a lot of lift lines even on a holiday weekend. But, there... More

Since my adult "kids" are living semi-close to this resort, we have visited 4 times this season. The snow has been good each time. Gabby at the rental shop is a lovely, helpful person! We enjoy the runs, and will be returning soon, if the weather cools off, and returns to winter temperatures! We really appreciate the prices, and the... More
