We are by appointment only. Please go to our website to inquire about our experiences. We do not take phone reservations. The cost is $55.00 per person. We regretfully are not permitted to have anyone under 21 years of age nor allow any pets on the premises. Our award winning wines come from our 40 acres in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. From grape growing to bottling, the entire winemaking process is managed at the estate. The vineyards are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. Our wines are sought after by collectors and have received many awards, including a recent 98 point score for our 2013 Unrestrained Reserve Bordeaux Blend.

We decided to try O'Brien because of its high ranking. Turns out, it was our favorite visit of the day. Louis was our host for the 1:30 tasting, but felt more like a friend chatting with us about their wines, the recent fires, beekeeping and...More

We had the most amazing time here, our guide through it was Jason. He is a hoot, with great stories and great advice. This was our first stop in Napa, and we had THE BEST time. It was a $55 tasting per person and the...More

This boutique winery is within the Oak Knoll region. The fruit is all from the estate, and since they take the designation seriously, the growing, crushing, fermenting, barrelling and bottling all is done on the estate. This means, you get to see the bottling machine...More

What a great find-family owned with all wines made from their own grapes on the premises. Had a great experience with Julio and enjoyed a flight of 5 wines, all fantastic. I normally never like Chardonnay, but theirs was lovely, crisp but not too oaky....More

We visited in October 2016 and absolutely loved our tasting experience - we sat around an outdoor table and enjoyed learning about the winery's history, the wines themselves, cheese and chocolate pairings, and generally had an awesome conversation with our host. If you're looking for...More

Where to start? When you first arrive here it is non-descript. It isn't fancy on the outside and the second you walk in your aren't overwhelmed with an opulent effect. You feel you are walking into a friends home and greeted warmly by a host...More

You know how what you secretly wanted in Napa was to find a really cool house and sit on their patio under a huge shady tree, looking at a vineyard, and drinking amazing wine? This. Is. Your. Spot. Friendly and family-owned would be an understatement....More

We have been members here for years and each time we visit the setting is perfect as is the wine. Just before harvest with tons of fruit on the vines we look forward to the new vintages.

We are members of O'brien's wine club (reds) and have enjoyed their wines for 3 years. This was my husband's first choice as to where he wanted to end his bd with our friends (who were not members, but all are now!). We were treated...More

Most of the smaller wineries require reservations, I would call or email the ones you want to go to, so you aren't turned away. OBrien and Venge require reservations, groups of four or less may be able to just walk in for a... More

Best to reserve tastings well in advance at O'Brien's, small and intimate, as opposed to Castelo. Do it on line or by phone in advance. O'Brien's is very close to Yountville, but you will need to drive.

I would recommend the Venge, Pride and Vincent Arroyo wineries, I not sure about them being vegan. We had a rental car and drove ourselves, some people had a driver tour them instead of the bigger van tours. We stayed at a... More
