A bit hard to find - small gated entrance in between a housing development and other home at end of street, but worth the effort - lots of small trails up and across the hillside. Lovely views and fresh air. Babbling brooks and moss/covered oaks and eucalyptus trees too.

We loved the fairly steep hike. Very peaceful and picturesque. Wish we had brought poles as we are seniors and the way down was slippery in spots. Friendly locals made it fun.

Review of Westwood Hills Park.............. From Website: Carl'sConsultingServiceCampany., a walk thru the park that's always like the first day of spring, that's always like the day before the first day of fall. Early jogs are the best here with warm moist air to breathe. That afternoon after tasting wine a walk is good, I'am still wondering why so-surprised that I... More

This park is just down the street from me, so I know it well. Great place for a walk, From leisurely to moderate in exertion. The main entrance on Browns Valley Rd. has off street parking. It has a wide, shaded trail that gently climbs through eucalyptus and oaks and opens up to a meadow. Continue left to climb to... More

We went to John F Kennedy Park in Napa. It is a superb park. The park is big at 350 acres. We took a walk along the Napa River on the Napa River Trail. There are nice picnic grounds and playgrounds for the children. The ball fields are quite nice. They are in progress of building a skate park. We... More

My husband thought he was following the trail. All the reviews he'd read said this was a nice "walk in the park." So, I was NOT prepared for steep, narrow, poison oak-lined trails. I had on normal running shoes, so fairly sensible for the kind of walking I expected, but still the trails we ended up on were so steep,... More
