Monarch Dunes is Woodland's tribute to the origins and tradition of golf. Surrounded by windswept dunes and eucalyptus trees, coastal vistas and amber-colored hillsides, Monarch Dunes Golf Club is reminiscent of the true links-style courses found in Scotland and a must play for those who seek a challenging, yet amiable, unspoiled golf adventure. The People are friendly and helpful. The vibe is good. The food is good. Above all else the course is well maintained and in great shape. Monarch has grown into a very special place to play golf and fun place to spend the day.

This is a very well kept course , friendly staff , and great food in the butterfly grill. The holes are challenging, and the views are spectacular. It is worth the drive to play here Sandra

This is a local community hang out with good grub, a full bar and, during daylight hours, a wide net for central California golfers.

As indicated by its name, Monarch Dunes is a dunes course. So it's not manicured like a resort course and there are many places you'd rather not hit your ball. It's a much better experience the second time around when you know what to avoid....More
