This isn't your ordinary movie experience. This is a place with many decorative and fancy and lavish theaters. One even has a balcony of sorts where you can enjoy your movie higher up. The experience is very unique and it has a good feel to...More

Came on a Sunday with the family. After buying 4 tickets, the ticket person only ripped off 2, then told us he only had 2 tickets. This person was not thorough enough when checking tickets. That's okay. No problem. Went to order 4 hot dogs,...More

Went to see Dunkirk in 70 mm in Theater 1. Lovely inside, very comfortable chairs, not too close together between rows. Excellent sound system. As seniors, it is $8 a ticket. The popcorn is popped fresh in front of your eyes, so really good. Parking...More

We seldom go to this theater because they do not show the type of movies we most enjoy, but that is our loss as it is spectacular, comfortable and roomy. A very high quality movie experience. A gem.

I love coming to this theater. Great Restraunts nearby or a nice walk at the lake before or after a movie. Easy to buy tickets online to avoid lines at the box office. Several nice screening rooms but the main theater is the best. The...More

One of my favorite places in Oakland. Have seen numerous movies here and love the $5 Tuesdays deal and matinees as well. Staff is friendly and helpful. Inside is just beautiful. Old school charm with tasteful decor and interior design. It's like you are transported...More

This is my personal favorite theater in Oakland since it's very photogenic from many locations. I go to see all the movies I watch here. It's a classic old theater.

So nice and richly decorated! A perfect place to walk memory lane and enjoy the glorious times of the movie theaters golden era! But don't be mistaken, the projection equipment is state if the art, modern and comfy seats, all makes for a great movie...More

Arrive early for a live half hour pipe organ performance. Saving special old theaters like this is awesome. Don't miss it!
