Longest wooden pier on California coast at 1941 feet, 1/3 of a mile, there is a convenience store half way out stocked floor to ceiling with fishing pole rentals, bait, tackle, snacks and beverages, and a whole lot of souvenir's stuffed into a 7X15 foot space. Ruby's 50's diner is located on the end with breakfast to burgers and a view to die for. The pier it self is open 24 hours a day 7days a week

My daughter and I enjoyed the pier and beach. We live in Arizona and this was the first time we had seen the ocean in more then a decade. It was a nice calm day watching the surfers and looking for shells.

Watch the surfers below or walk to the end and enjoy the view of the city! Best on an early morning or as the sun goes down :)

Within strolling distance of Downtown Oceanside, the pier makes and enjoyable walk. With beach either side, it is a very pleasant location.

We stayed at the Wyndam resort and spent a lot of time walking the pier and enjoying the ocean. We even saw some dolphins one day.

This is a good and fun place for the whole family. There are lots of activities to do. There are little shops, artists selling their art, hand made ice cream shop (Mariposa). Everything here is pleasant!

It's worth parking and walking out to the end. Beautiful, historic pier in the heart of Oceanside. Great beaches to either side of the pier too.

No, but there are dog beaches along the coast. It’s a great off leash time!

The pier does not cost anything to walk out to. There is a small diner at the end of the pier that is moderately priced. Blessings!
