On my August 2015 visit to Gus's, the jerky was from an outfit in Washington state. It was good. But, not as good as what Gus's has sold in the past under his own brand.

The best so far very delicious. Also price is very reasonable. Wish it was closer to our home in san bernardino cali.

Just off 395 in Olancha you'll find Gus' Really Fresh Jerky (and other stuff). I tasted three different types and bought a package of the Cowboy Jerky. Great flavor with a touch of spice. I also purchased some Pistachio nuts, garlic flavor. Also really good. They have different types of honey in addition to the jerky, nuts and dried fruit.

Great jerky, especially the hot, spicy ones. Expensive. Very basic sales room along the roadside. A few other food items such as nuts, chips, sodas.

I try the sweet and spicy brisket and now I am a addict of Gus's jerky. All the flavors are excellent and delicious. I recommend all of them. I do not know who made this jerky but he or she is a genius.

Seriously the Jerky here is garbage. When I stopped in they only had hot jerky, it was so so dry and tough. I thought they sold me shoe leather. The dush bag working the counter should take his sun glasses off when taking care of customers. Be careful when you use the bathrooms, you 'll feel like your entering a... More

This was just another one of our random stops on the way to Lone Pine. Curiosity got the best of us so we pulled over. It's not just about the jerky as they also carry nuts, dried fruits, bottled condiments and sauces. Free samples, no MSG jerky, and a bench out front made this a colorful rest stop in an... More
