My first visit to Squaw Valley was for a stop on our way to Sacramento and heard they were still open on Saturdays for skiing! Well, I had to make sure this was on our road trip list! I had the best time skiing there...More

We were not skiing here (we know everybody recommends this ski resort though) but as the summer turns we came out here for a day out and it's sure NOT TO BE MISSED if your around Lake Tahoe. There's so many shops to wonder through...More

This was the third time we skied on July 4th, since 1995. Squaw is a great place to ski -- great runs, friendly staff ( Matt in rentals is an example - he was friendly, courteous and professional), and good places to stay and eat....More

It was Slush on June 17th but still loads of fun. It's about the only snow skiing you'll find this time of year in the Tahoe area. The pool and spa are great and family friendly (DJ playing hipster techno) They have lockers, bring your...More

There are great ski mountains, there are great ski resorts. My family fell in love with Squaw Valley - the mountain, the people, the village. Everything was simply perfect.

We are from South Lake by way of Big Island and have been skiing Tahoe for years. Our mistake was investing in a home near Heavenly. We should have invested in Olympic Valley. The management, the staff, the parks, the mountain, the snow....ALL much more...More

The staff at the ticket counter and the ski rental place were not very friendly or helpful. The skis I rented really were in poor shape. The skiing was OK, but did not have much variety and seemed a little slow.

Jodi, Given the snow this year, there will be lots of pow. Squaw gets skied out very quickly on the weekends, but it is a large resort and you can find pockets. Just ask the staff or experienced skiers and they'll help... More

This season rivals the big snow years of various seasons past, like 1982 and 2010. I shot aerials of Squaw in late March in 2010 and the season continued until June. They have had more snow in January of this year (23') than... More
