We took a picnic lunch to the park while we waited for The Christmas Train to run. Plenty of tables and beautiful trees surround the eating area. We saw many peacocks strolling around which was fun. They have an info center talking about the local area back in the day with stuffed animals that you would find in that area.... More

Huge park with lots of trails, plenty of parking available, lots of shade trees. Easy access off Jamboree road. Great for Cross-country races. There is a railroad and zoo but I did not use either on this trip. Love this park!

Irvine regional park is a great park and is enjoyable for the entire family. The Park is run by the county and entrance fees are minimal. Great place to hike, walk your dog or ride your bike. Many great places for picnic areas around the park.

The park is, overall, a fantastic place to escape the city. Plenty of space and activities for all ages. Lots of playgrounds for young families and plenty of picnic space. At this time of the year the annual pumpkin patch is really worth visiting. This is very well managed, with plenty of different activities for kids of most ages. From... More

Great space makes a break from the urban sprawl. Lakes, paths and trees make for great walks or bike rides. A small train will take you through the park or you can hire bikes and boats. At Halloween a pumpkin patch is a great attraction for the kids. Parking is only $3 and you can spend all day here.

Very pretty HUGE park ... a few areas were over run with large non-english speaking family events so if you want a table etc. get there early. Train, paddle boat, and pony rides are not cheap but cute. Food available during normal hours.

I absolutely love walking at Irvine regional park. There are several trails that seem like you are 100 miles away from town. The rangers are helpful if you have any questions.

Irvine Regional Park is a large park offering many activities and opportunities. I went today for the Pumpkin Patch. Fabulous place to take family and kids from now until Halloween. They sell pumpkins. There is a train ride around the park. There is a hay ride. They each cost $5 per person. There is face painting for $10 per person.... More
