Beautiful old buildings repurposed as a wide variety of modern businesses. Only one small but nice restaurant was open on the grounds. The one and only wine tasting room was closed and is only open on weekends. Seriously, there isn't anything else to do there but look at the homes.

I have to say the houses were beautiful but as it's the US I was expecting bigger and better. The house are restored to a like new standard and it's good to see it's used, rather than just vacant, most are businesses. You feel like you are walking a private area. There are signs in front of some houses telling... More

Nice place to come just to shoot the breeze. It was smaller than what I expected. Strolled around for less than 5 min and just ended up getting somthing to drink at the Dolce Vita restaurant.

Beautiful old buildings repurposed as a wide variety of modern businesses. A few restaurant and wine tasting rooms but mostly dentists, lawyers, and other business offices. I guess they have concerts and other events, and docent-led tours on weekends, but we were there on a quiet Monday to wander on our own.

Oxnard has done itself a big favour by rescuing a great collection of Victorian and neo-classical buildings that represent the early days of this agricultural city. The buildings have been moved from their original locations and placed together at Heritage Square. Most are now occupied by professional businesses, but there is a good restaurant with a great craft beer pub... More

I have no idea why this is even considered something to do in Oxnard. Possibly because there is nothing else to do there. A handful of old houses in a square. You cannot even see inside the homes. With the exception of one restaurant there is literally nothing to do there.

Having driven up to Oxnard for a meeting, we were looking for something to do the rest of the day. We found this place on Trip advisor and decided to see it for ourselves. It is a square block of restored buildings from the surrounding area. There is a church building with colorful stained glass windows, a farm house, city... More

Historic buildings relocated here and restored. La Dolce Vida italian restaurant on site which offers excellent food. We love the summer concerts, music, dancing and good friends. New friends made. Tours are available by docents in period costumes.
