This was my second time enjoying the Palm Spring Aerial Tramway! I highly recommend if you love the outdoors and hiking! This time we did the Pines Cafe Ride-n-Dine ticket. Good deal for the money. I was less than impressed with the food, however. Probably would not choose this option again. The Tramway ride did not disappoint! It is breathtaking... More

For what you get, price I thought was high. Once you get there you have to buy everything and not cheap. View was good but upper platform was closed. I guess they must not have had anyone that would move a little snow from the walkway.

We went around 11am and because it was Presidents' Day the lines were unexpectedly long. Had to wait 1.5 hours Board the tram but they have out door seating and food/drinks and a mini hiking trail to pass the time. Once on The tram the ride up is breathtaking and kinda scary if your afraid of heights. U end up... More

We went when it was snowing and it was breathtaking! The views were unbelievable! I wish there were healthier food options and they weren't so expensive but next time I'll check if packing a lunch is allowed.

This is a must do on your trip to the Palm Springs area. The view is simply stunning and if you are lucky enough to travel on a clear day you'll see for miles and miles. One suggestion from the guide books is to travel when the Tram opens in the morning to avoid long, long lines. I agree. Be... More

Took the tram ride with another couple. Just riding the tram is a fun experience, but the close-up views of the rugged, rocky hillside and the changing vegetation with the gain in elevation are really enjoyable. It's also interesting to look back down the mountain and view the desert floor with its urban sprawl and vast array of wind generators.... More

The tram ride offers spectacular views of the desert and Palm Springs and would offer great walks at the top - provided the weather is fine. Don't bother to buy food at the cafe at the top though! Suggest you take your own lunch with you. The packages sandwiches are pretty lifeless - the caprese roll ( cheese and tomato)... More

This is a very unique place. Having toured extensively in the Canadian Rockies these mountains are very different. Beautiful granite. Huge lodge pole pine trees at 8700 ft! Keep in mind this a busy attraction so not a pristine experience. Tram is great quality but like many things is the US busy and over crowded.

Well worth spending an hour for this unique view up in the desert mountains. Hiking and trails available or just ride up, take in the views and a snack then head back down.

We did the tramway this year just as Palm Springs had the largest rainfall in years... Well, with it raining in Palm Springs, it snowed up on the mountain. 4 1/2 feet on one weekend to be exact! Many people were fascinated with the snow which was a blast to see, however, living in the middle of the mountains ourselves... More
