If you are in Palm Springs on a Thursday then you can not miss this. From 5pm some of the down town roads are closed off to allow stall holders to set up. All are very friendly and sell quality merchandise. The snacks from the Greek food stall were great!

Was a great time walking through the streets seeing all the artisan works (paints, pottery, lots of handmade jewelry, clothing..etc). Many kinds of food vendors, the shops that line the street were open plus Pet friendly too!

Think about it, every Thursday evening Palm Springs, California has a street fair with food, art, music, vendors and people--lots of people! It is a blast. It is the place to be on Thursdays for sure. Eclectic and way cool!

Always a fun evening out., especially after a hot day at the pool. Local artisans at their best. All restaurants and shops are open, so brand names and all food types are available.

Great free event in Palm Springs on a Thursday night. There were food vendors, craft vendors, health and nutrition vendors, people doing henna art, etc. And in addition to the vendors, the stores along Palm Canyon Drive also remain open! Attending is definitely worthwhile of your time.

Our first time in the Palm Dessert area and this was a suggested place to visit on a Thursday night. My husband and I enjoyed the stroll down the city streets looking at the various booths. At one end there's a farmers market and a bunch of different vendors selling food. I would recommend going especially if your a 1st... More

I loved that the city shuts down streets in the downtown area weekly to have a farmers market and arts and crafts show. Lots of fun things to see and buy.

Thursday night bustles with families, friends and couples strolling down Palm Canyon drive which becomes a pedestrian walkway from about 4:30-11:00 p.m. Vendors selling art, local foods, crafts, clothing, candles, fruits, vegetables, dates and nuts abound. There is something for everyone here. Don't miss it!

When visiting PS the first time, I really enjoyed the energy and spectacle of Thursday night VillageFest. The central location was walkable from our homestay, and we liked the people-watching and vendors. Get a bite to eat, and make an impulse buy. It's great that people are out and walking on a beautiful evening; not home watching TV! And maybe... More

This not about the shopping as much as it is about the vibrant scene. Really brings out the best of Palm Springs as a street scene goes, and of course there are many restaurants and bars with outdoor seating on the route for people watching. Should not miss.
