Sir

Great for hiking, great to get out of the heat, great just to show up and show everybody that you can do the six hour hike up and down.

The sights are amazing do not miss out. We visited over the holiday weekend. I really enjoyed the view of the palm springs. I would dress in layers it was amazing that the temperature could change a lot by your location on the mountain. Make sure you bring a camera the photo opportunities should not be missed.

We took advantage of the tram to the top but... when we went to get our tickets early in the morning we witnessed many people walking the paved path to the tram parking station. It is quite an incline, but the path is paved and off the road, peaceful and the view is breathtaking.

The tram ride up the mountain is a little un-nerving, but the view is unbelievable. It is awesome to shoot up 5000 ft and look at how different to terrain is from Palm Springs. It has a snackish station on top and a full restaurant and bar. The food was really good.

We did the desert view hiking trail and the views were absolutely stunning. The hike was reasonably easy (even with a foot of fresh snow). We wish we had brought sleds, the sledding looked so fun!

The best part of this attraction is the tram ride, an incredibly steep ride with amazing views of the mountain and Palm Springs. Pack a jacket--the temperature drops considerably at the top of the mountain.

We have been up to mountain top many times, when there is snow and ice,and when sunny weather, Never fails to excite,as a very picturesque trip up on revolving cable car. This top time however, firstly they have started charging $5 to park your car,and wephen we eventually got to tram station, bus driver announced"Happy Christma" you have a 2.5 hour wait to... More

It's a nice contrast with the heat of the desert, make sure you pack a fleece or something warm to wear as the temperature drops quite a bit as you go up (about 12ºC mid october) The 3-4 hours forest walk is wonderful and rejuvenating and quite safe. I'm very glad I got to do it, air is pure and... More

The best part of this park is getting there. The ariel tram gives great views. We didn't hike the park as we didn't have hiking boots. The outskirts were pretty.

We were looking for an afternoon activity after Christmas and this park was perfect because my teen daughter demanded snow for Christmas. $26 USD per person gets you up the 8000' tram ride and includes park admission. If you are winter hiking bring crampons or snow shoes (we didn't) although you can rent snowshoes at the discovery centre if you... More
