We enjoyed our stop at this little museum displaying original items you would see in general stores of the past. We recognized many of the items and were amazed at the mint condition of the packaging. Everything is neat and organized and the person at...More

During our trips to PS we typically come downtown for dinner and stroll the street before and after our meals. As a result, the museum has already closed for the day. This time, we decided on an afternoon walk and are glad we did because...More

I saw the photos online prior to our weekend getaway from LA. It was the first place we looked for when we hit town. Easy to find, the slight admission of ninety five cents was as quaint as a nickel loaf of bread. The two...More

Interested turn back in time. Very small, interesting conversations pieces for kids about how things used to be. Honestly, probably won't spend more then 10 minutes in the store.

American pickers would have a field day in this store. I stopped by out of curiosity and spent a whole hour. Great way to top my visit!

We went to this museum today and was impressed with the extensive collection of item to be seen. Vintage articles from the 1800 to 1940. Doesn't take long to go through but very interesting. Best part it only cost. 95 cents to get in!!!

Just went into Ruddy's General Store. This is a great place to take kids that have no clue what it was like in the 1930's. There are over 6000 items that have never been open and in their original packaging. You just need to take...More
