The Stanford campus changes every year. We go to each 5 year reunion, this being our 50th year. Again, more new buildings and more construction. You really have to take a campus tour to keep up!

Very pleasant place to walk around. Elegant buildings and church. Robin's sculptures in the main quad. Having a cup of coffee at the book store is enjoyable.

As you stroll the lovely campus and admire the bell tower and architecture, take time to stop at the outdoor eating places students visit. It's lively and most days, bright! Beware of wild bikers, on sidewalks, pedestrian paths, just about everywhere.

Stanford blends the traditional quadrangle with outer modern buildings all with red brick roofs in a Spanish and Sandstone type of design. The buildings are placed among old oak trees and other trees to give you a real rural feel. It does a good job...More
