Beautiful theatre building that shows restored classic films. It's like going to the movies in the 30's! And the live organ that rises up out of the pit to perform between the two showings is the best part of the evening!

A heritage theatre right in the midst of the bustling University Avenue, screens only Old movies pre 1970s. They have an afternoon (3pm) and an evening (730pm) show daily. It was really an experience to watch MY FAIR LADY (the 3pm show or matinee as...More

Beautifully restored theatre offering vintage classic movies. From the organ to the traditional concession stand to the balcony experience it is a must see if you enjoy old movies. There is also a gallery of vintage movie posters which is awesome.

A great plan is to wander University Avenue, grab a drink and/or meal and then catch a film at Stanford Theater (or visa versa). Even if you're not familiar with the movies being shown, it's worth a visit. The films are usually pretty great (even...More

This genuine older theater evokes bygone days of visits to the movies. Comfortable seating and great movies make this a must-visit place! Organ music prior to the movies too!

Just saw Breakfast at Tiffany's this weekend. Just wish the rotation of movies was longer than a week as I don't look at calendar and schedule to be able to make some movies in such a small window for the year.
