Very friendly owner operators willing to answer any questions. We were given a bonus tasting of a very good sparking wine before choosing our complimentary plate of appetizers. We moved to the tasting area to experience eight reds without charge, rush or obligation. In good weather the tasting can be enjoyed on an extensive shaded outside area with great views.... More

This was our last winery of the day, so needless to say we were already very happy. Having said that, we enjoyed all of the wines we tasted and wound up out on their patio with a couple of bottles. Everything we tasted was good, and priced pretty decently. What really stood out was the patio. It's in a beautiful... More

This is a a very nice winery with a unique tasting experience. You first taste a flight of white wines and when it's time to taste the Reds, they actually cook some appetizers for you to have along with your wine. This visit was olive tapenade, a lovely Parmesan and onion toast and a spicy meatball. Once a month they... More

Their Saturday events are really fun. Catered food at tables on hillside terraces under the oaks. Good bands, dancing for those that desire. The owners are great and we really enjoy their wine.

The owners of this winery go out of their way to make your wine tasting experience the best. Their wines are really good, and they have a nice variety of both reds an whites. Their Saturday night outings are so much fun. Good food, music for dancing, and their great wine.

Great place for a picnic or one of their events but the wine is just okay, especially the reds. Barrel tasting are interesting.

This winery was simply brilliant. My wife and I stopped there looking for a quick tasting and got way more than we expected. We were treated to incredibly friendly service, and actually spent a lot of time talking with the owners, who were lovely and very knowledgeable. The tasting itself was completely free (we definitely bought wine anyway), and we... More

We live in the area but had never been to Pilot Peak before. We took a houseguest here and had a wonderful experience. Everyone was very friendly. Your wine tasting is free of charge which is unusual anymore. You start in the winery itself and taste a few whites, then you fix yourself a little complimentary appetizer plate and they... More

My wife and I and another couple had initially planned to visit a different winery in the area -- however, it turned out that they were "by appointment only", although nothing of the sort was indicated on their website (which we checked prior to our planned visit). Thank God for Google Navigation (which led us to "Plan B" -- Pilot... More
