Shollenberger is a great place to have an easy walk while experiencing various species of birds and other species in their natural habitat. There are about 3 different trails you can take that can extend your walk and give you a different view. The walk...More

Sonoma features many parks with a more natural setting and better scenery. Shollenberger starts from a non descript industrial/office park, and if you walk counter clock rise your initial walk down a linear levy towards the Petaluma River. The initial stroll down the river offers...More

Love to catch a walk with friends at this bird sanctuary with level path and easy access. Such a great escape from town but only minutes away.

Great place to see basking turtles and many different varieties of birds. People walk their dogs, others ride bicycles or just stroll the long paved path. Nice sunset and river viewing. Educational; bring binoculars, camera.

This park is great for walking, biking and running. It is flat meaning no hills. There is a small section that is paved, but the rest is a dirt gravel combo. There is lots of bird life, and you will often see bird watchers out...More
