We love this place. It's always nice and a relaxing get away from the stress of everyday life. It's a great way to just go and recharge your batteries so you come back refreshed and ready to go. The only thing I don't like is...More

Don't plan a trip this year to see this pier. It's being rebuilt after winter storms severely damaged it.

The Pier itself is closed when I was there and probably won't for a while. (They are working on it.) Nevertheless, there are lots of shops and restaurants in the area and still a fun place to go.

Pismo Beach is one of the most beautiful places I have visited in California. The beaches are gorgeous. This was our second year in a row visiting Pismo Beach. The pier was under construction when we were there at the beginning of May 2017.

A little bummed that the pier was inaccessible during our visit. Still, you can see what makes this such a great place to visit. Lots of activity on the beach (sun, surf, volleyball) and even more on the boardwalk. Steps away from a ton of...More

Splash Cafe just one block up from the pier has the BEST clam chowder on the planet. They won the clam chowder cookoff 10 years in a row and stopped entering. Don't bother with the bread bowl...just order the next size... More
