Depending on the weekend - you might find music, a party, a huge appreciation even for wine club members or a relaxed experience with the family members in the tasting room. Dick Cooper is the real deal. Just spend 5 minutes with him and you'll understand. This wonderful family run operation is a fantastic stop. The people are friendly. The wine is fantastic. The experience is worth repeating....and if you have the opportunity, stop and talk to Dick Cooper. You'll understand why the Shenandoah Valley is the best kept secret in... More

I'll always go to COOPER. The staff treats you like family. The wines are exceptional. This is a great local family winery! Old time! Put this first on your visit and tasting list. We love the SPAGHETTI WESTERN EVENT TOO.

this was a really nice surprise - a family run winery - been doing it for a while clearly - and what great wine it was!! We tried a bunch, purchased a surprising white and a barbera to bring back. Really friendly staff, beautiful location. Clearly some wines were better than others but all in all this was one of... More

My husband and I recently visited Cooper Vineyards for the second time. During both of these visits, we had such an enjoyable experience. This particular time, we were greeted by Rose, the granddaughter of the owner of the Winery. She was so much fun and bursting with personality. She has a great sense of humor and just a delight to... Wow, they make some great wines here; Nicely balanced, not over extracted, and great value. Little nibbles inside, such as cheese and pretzels, is a nice touch. The grounds are beautiful too. Friendly wine staff. We were so impressed, we joined the CinCin wine club. The Roussanne, Carignane, and Grenache are all worth trying. A must try in the area.

If you love barbera, this is one place not to miss. Cooper was one of the pioneers to bring barbera to light. The tasting room is very nice, and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Worth a visit even if it is tad off the beatten path.
