The staff here is very friendly and offer lots of information. The grounds are beautiful with good parking and picnic area and restrooms. We enjoyed the Barbera and Zin varietals, very different from Sonoma County wines.

Fantastic Wines! Must visit if you're in the area! Chris is the winemaker. They will show you and taste you on different wines that they will eventually blend. The largest brands are Montevina and Terra d'Oro. They make a fantastic Port Wine! You can sample it while eating chocolate, delicious.

Had a very enjoyable time while tasting a great selection of wines available to taste, 20 or more to select from. Did the "Italian flight" which featured some very good wines, especially Sangiovese and Barbera varietals. Super friendly tasting room employee.

Fun place to taste and picnic. I enjoyed the wines and the venue was very nice. Next time I want to stay and eat cheese and wine in the wonderful picnic area.

We visited this winery because we were meeting friends who are locals and this is one of their favorites. They had complimentary tasting with a choice of four different groupings. The wines were wonderful and prices are very reasonable. They have a beautiful patio with tables which make the perfect setting for a picnic.

Nice facility, good picnic grounds for an afternoon visit. We bought the inexpensive Montevina Zin and Muscsto. We'd go back

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Very good wines. We picnicked in their beautiful terrace. 2 tiers of wines - both very good. Nice shopping for wine-related gifts.

Even though this is part of a super winery, the tasting room and grounds don't feel like it. The staff are freindly and very knowledgeable. I love their rose. Montevina and Terra d'Or are the same place, Montevina is the lower end wines.

Terra d’Oro was one of our target wineries on the second day of a wine-tasting pilgrimage to Amador County. My wife and I both enjoy big jammy Zins, and other big reds, and so our approach was to go to a maximum of four wineries per day, space out the visits, sample only reds, and when drinking reds to skip... Not a lot to say here. It's ok. It was a last minute stop this last weekend. Nice place, ok wines. Not the best but not bad either. The staff is super friendly. That always makes the experience better.
