Point Mugu State Park is near the end of the oceanfront stops before you hit Point Hueneme and Oxnard so it is a good spot for a stop to enjoy the surf and the ocean and all of the wildlife.

To truly experience the beauty and feel of the Southern California coast make certain to stop here and walk the beach at very least. Another stunning picture of california Hwy 1 that you must see.

We did not have a lot of time, it was a lightning visit really. Wish we had more time. The wide open spaces are magnificent.

Gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean. A bonus -- fruit stand on site. Delicious. Worth stopping off to take a few photos.

Yes, there is an entrance fee and varies during different time of year and of course holidays. Remember, it is a state park. The place can get very crowded depending on holidays. The campground will get full.
