HALL Rutherford offers guests a truly world-class winery experience to include a tasting of HALL’s most regaled wines along with an intimate tour through the property and caves. The winery’s 14,000 square feet of caves were designed and built by hand by Friedrich Gruber of Gutenstein Austria. The caves are finished with handmade Austrian brick recovered from sites in and around Vienna and showcases select works from the Halls’ art collection. Deep inside the caves resides a dazzling reception area for private tastings and entertaining. The room’s spectacular chandelier, designed by Donald Lipski and Jonquil LeMaster, is dressed in hundreds of Swarovski crystals.

The wines were incredible, the service superior and the setting was beautiful. This was a high end experience that didn't compare with any other winery that I visited in Napa. I enjoyed every aspect of this winery. My friend and I did a wine pairing with another couple and we had a great time. The tour was different from others... More

Definitely worth the trek up Rutherford Drive. At 1,000 feet, the sky is clear and you get a great view of the valley - truly incredible. Small vineyard with 100% cabernet and easy to walk through. The tasting culminates int eh cave and under an impressive chandelier ... words cannot describe.

This tour feels very upscale and exclusive. Our guide was knowledgeable about the Hall family history and the art collections. Unfortunately, he seemed quite annoyed that two of the couples in the private tour after being asked, admitted they chose the tour because of the crystal chandelier in the tasting room. He asked, "Oh, not because you're interested in our... More

Hall rutherford is one place that any wine lover should experience. It is located up the mountain, requires a reservation, and is a next level winery experience. If you are out tasting at 4-5 wineries a day, skip this place. If you have only one place to go, want a serious experience on wine, wine making, grapes and how the... More

Napa has many wineries that are architectural gems, Hall Rutherford is one of them. Tried a couple of their wines, however, it was not to my liking. If we had had more time, we would have tried more and enjoyed the beautiful settings.

Another winery that is a spectacular piece of Architecture. It wasn't on our original plans but after meeting a business partner of the winery and them suggesting we visit we were not disappointed. The wine was very good and the out look awesome.

My wife and I had the pleasure of a tour and tasting at Hall's Winery in Rutherford. The majestic setting of the winery on Auberge Road was breathtaking. The vista was simply incredible. We were greeted by our host, Bob. We truly enjoyed our time with him! He made us feel so very welcome. It was as if we were... More

You will truly enjoy this upscale wine experience, conducted in a magnificent wine cave! The brief drive up a steep hill sets the stage for a reception area with unforgettable views of the valley below and the mountains in the distance. The winery is a work of art. The wine cave is constructed of antique stones and bricks imported from... More

This was one of our best stops on the trip. The cave by itself is a must see. The tasting room is fabulous. Then you get to the wines. They were very good. Admittedly I had never tried Hall before, but was very impressed by the Cabernet. This stop is a must.

On our last visit, we visited both Hall St.Helena and Rutherford.........the tasting experience at Hall Rutherford is truly a VIP experience. We were able to take advantage of the tour before they began charging members for the experience, but it was o impressive, I would gladly pay.
