Had a good day at the Zoo with the family. I think it is a little overpriced, but the zoo is clean and great signage. Some of the facilities seemed a bit small for the animals that were in there but not bad. Lunch was...More

Sacramento Zoo is the place which is a must visit if you are visiting Sacramento with the kids. Kids can see most of animals there. Zebras there were quite big in size. Kids got to touch the snakes and birds also in real with some...More

Zoo visit with grand kids. Right in the middle of William Land Park. Nice presentation of enclosures for small and large animals. Train ride not worth $4. Limited reptile house. The giraffe exhibit was outstanding. They had a group of juvenile flamingos for the first...More

It's only a 15 min drive from our location when we visit Sac. Since we have a toddler we opted for a family membership. So many wonderful animals, and all of the staff members are friendly. My son loves the giraffes, and he was able...More

Great day for a zoo visit in Sacramento. Animals are a few, but what could be seen was enjoyable. Very clean! Small and quaint zoo. Great for families with kids. Reasonably priced. Cafe/food on-site.

This zoo was not a place I could recommend. Why? There are a lot of trees and plants but the animals are difficult to find, only one animal in view many areas, just a lot of walking around the pathways without much of interest..is my...More

We had fun walking around the zoo in the morning. They have some interesting animals like the ant eater and lemur. Overall, the zoo is pretty small so the price tag felt pretty steep. We have a membership to a zoo in another state that...More

I saw two assistance dogs there when we last visited. Check with the zoo anyway.
