This multifaceted gem is seated on the west edge of east Sacramento. Used by thousands of denizens, this rectangular plot is nicely organized and very peaceful. It's not easy to park your car, but walking, running or strolling is fun. There are tennis courts and...More

Another Sacramento institution to visit. Beautiful park/pond, and library and playground. Location for weddings in the Rose Garden.

Great play area for kiddos. THE place to take your evening walk with your doggies. Pool open during the summer. BUT, the best part is the beautiful rose garden. Take a cuppa and your latest read and RELAX.

This park is down past Alhambra back behind the Safeway shopping. Have a nice duck pond area, lots of trees, baseball field, Parking is on street, and limited, go early.

Good outing for friends and family for a quick picnic or a walk through the rose gardens or by the pond. Lots of shady trees too.

This is in an older well maintained neighborhood almost downtown. There are no vagrants, no unleashed dogs and no annoying bicyclists. Just lots of nice people and their dogs walking or running on the many paths. Lots of old trees shade this very large park

Came specifically to visit the rose garden and was pleased to have done so. It was a very hot day and one could only presume there was an adequate irrigation system as the roses seemed to be coping. Well worth a visit
